The Entrepreneurship Advisory Council is composed of experienced members of the local business community who advise tech transfer regarding the feasibility of commercializing select technologies through new venture creation, and help interrogate start up business models.
EIRs advise and assist Vanderbilt entrepreneurs in the launch of new ventures. They are experts in business formation, operations and strategy, and have been successful entrepreneurs, investors in startup companies, and seasoned executives from large corporations with experience in an entrepreneurial setting.
The new ventures team in CTTC is dedicated to supporting members of the Vanderbilt community evaluate, plan, launch and grow startup companies pursuing the commercialization of Vanderbilt technologies. The process for carrying out such support is detailed here.
